Description

It was raining, and there were only a few of us. We wandered single file under our umbrellas, feeling as though we were sneaking through narrow nocturnal paths. Then, just as we arrived, the sun rose on the Taj Mahal.
This photo was taken in Uttah Pradesh, in Agra, using a handmade camera, closely resembling a pinhole camera. The camera was crafted from wood, springs, and an ingenious shutter system, an homage to the creative legacy of my grandfather.
